Hope this is the right place for this?

I was looking around for a brochure for my car, just missed one on CP. There is one on ebay right now going for $80.00. I came across this one for $40.00 but they won't ship to Canada. Anyone got any leads on where else I could look?

    Thanks

Here are the details for a couple of literature guys that I've met at some swap meets around Ontario. I spoke to Rob Clark a few weeks ago about a factory manual for my Parisienne. He was very responsive and quick to offer to keep his eyes out for one for me when he didn't have one in his stash. Ultimately I bought a reprint copy from Bishko's Automotive Literature.

I have bought many original brochures over the years from Walter Miller Auto Literature. They have a constantly changing inventory that always seems to include pieces that just can't be found anywhere else. Through this company, I have purchased things like 67 Coronet brochures that were from Peru, 68 Barracuda brochure from South Africa, several Australian and Brazilian Mopar brochures, as well as original 60's Chrysler brochures from Germany, England, Belgium, Mexico, Canada and Switzerland.

Looking on line, it doesn't look like they currently have the piece you need, but I think its worth contacting them. I'm guessing the on line listing doesn't get updated often enough just because of the sheer volume of entries that would take. Also, you never know, it could be that they only list the more common pieces, or brochures that they have in large quantities. Its probably too much work to enter titles that they only have a few of, so you would never know if they have it unless you ask.

So I have decided to order this book and Waygun has graciously offered to help get it to me, beacuse these folks won't ship to Canada. :(
I had to join the site as a member, thinking I could put in my credit card #...nope, I have only 2 choices to pay, money order or Paypal.
So I go over to Paypal spend an hour reading all about how it works, then I have to open an account there. But when I get to entering my credit card number...it won't except it  a window pops up tells me I need to contact my bank, so I did. Turns out Paypal is an American site they won't except Canadian cerdit cards but we will except my personal banking info...:slap: might be secure but I'm not doing it!
So, I just closed my Paypal account and now I'm going to see if I can find another way to purchase this book...maybe a money order and snail mail.
Sometimes this world isn't as small as we like to think it is...

Thanks for you patience Waygun, I'll let send you a PM as soon as I know what I'm doing.

Sounds like someone at your bank wasn't as knowledgable as they would have you believe, Fannie. I use my Paypal account religiously for both personal and work transactions. At one time I had 4 credit cards paired to my account and used them all, depending upon who I was ordering for at the time. My current personal card is definitely Canadian. If it's still a hassle, you can pair a Paypal account with a bank account and have your transactions deduct from there much as you would an Interac transaction.

It was Paypal that rejected my card not the bank. :) Anyhow it seems that son #1 has a PP account. He's checking to see if it's still active. If it is...he'll purchase for me. (y)

Not the wagon; fell in love with this A body when I was in AB last year. Beaumont is quite a rare model here.
