1967 Dodge Coronet Station Wagon, owner says it is a "Big block one of 284 made with 383 4bbl but is now really a 440 4bbl. Sure-grip disc brakes". It looks real nice for 2,750. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1455129680.html
I wish it were mine. Sadly its 3000 miles away from me, or I would be looking into the possibility of aquiring it myself.
looks like this guy decided to sell the 440 motor and keep the car. He plans to install a 318. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/pts/1468767521.html It is too much motor for my "67 Coronet S/W. I was going to sell the whole car but it works for me hauling long stuff on the Wagon roof. It is running perfectly and in the car for you to test drive. Had the whole car for sale last week because I was pissed that it needed a new starter. Bought a new starter ($80 w/ 1 year warranty) at CarQuestI. I will be putting in a 318 2bbl 4 speed overdrive over the winter. If you buy it. I will pull it and have it hanging in the air for you to haul away. I have space and time available to install it in your rig ($45hr). The price is firm because it runs great and I need it at least once a month for hauling stuff. About 9k miles on this strong but thirsty engine and about 14k on the 727 At. (shift-kit @ Auto-Magic in Auburn) I rebuilt the motor and disguised it to look like a stock 383 but it is a RB .40 over 440 (448ci , machine work at ENGINE MACHINE SERVICE) balanced, windage tray, 3/8' drilled Hemi oiling system. roller chain, '69 HP ex. manifolds, elect. ign. (hidden) recently reblt converter( GodSpeed did the work), Has big valve heads Comp Cam Extreme Energy high lift (.470 ) with bigger valve springs and Crane adjustable rockers and Mancini pushrods. It runs like a torque monster, 5700RPM with 3.23 (factory 8.75 sure-grip) is 120 mph Edelbrock alum. intake ( ground down and painted to look stock 383') 750 cfm, For my use as a truck I had to pull out the Keith Black 10:1 and put in stock pistons to tow without overheating ( tows my 21 foot sailboat really well now) Have extra stuff that I took off like: oil cooler/ hoses & adapter. Mancini viscous fan, high volume water pump. I am sure this thing will run for years, massive torque is fun!
