They make a cleaner in small tubes called Semi-Chrome that bikers use on shiny parts. Might work on the hub caps. I'd rather have stainless anyway. Or try some of your wife's aluminum foil again and coke. The liquid kind!

Well I'm still tinkering on the old Girl... Going to have to replace the timing set soon I can here the slapping of the chain.
It has taken a couple days to get it right but I now have LED tail lights.
My Right light is all led the Left light still has the incandescent bulb. When I went to check the lights the first time after making the Left one. I found and internal problem with the light housing when you stepped on the brake it shorted the tail light to go out. So I discontinued the incandescent bulb completely. Whoo now for the front.

Looks good. Better than trying to figure how to wire in a 3rd brake light.

I did the same on my 71 F100. But I still have the incandescent bulbs, saved me from having to buy a special flasher fuse. So both old and new LEDS light up.

They came out fine for me. Can't believe that dried out grass at the car show. Also can't believe they allowed people to park on it when so dry.

ok fixed that Now let me tell you some things I have learned ...

 I don't care what Others think I like my Old Junk Yard Dog. :D

Why? Because there are very few out there, I can't say there are None because I have found a couple on Facebook and they are processing with a slow build. :p

This is not my only Project and the wife wants a round fender car Desoto I think she said.... well I want to build a Stupid Rat rod..... But I could not dare sell the Wagon it's going to be a Hand me down to one of my kids...with the understanding it's not to be disposed of I have first Dibs.

So more to come when I can...

    Wet

On the other hand here in the Sunshine state we've had thunderstorms and rain nearly everyday. But north and south of us they've had so much rain even the fish are drowning.
Still it's been very hot also.
