    friday update

Well today was a pretty good day, I got both rear (quarter windows as they are called) installed. I also got some more installed on the front end, the front splash pan and a little bit of the chrome trim. I also painted some of the headlight trim. I am also working on the tail gate trim, There is a lot of masking, LOL. Here are some pics.

Back windows installed, (I had then tinted out of the car)

    No No

Heavens no, the polisher did such a great job polishing them they are like a mirror, it must be the reflection from the skylights in the shop, they are not gold just polished so much they look chrome, I will try to get them on Monday so you can get a better look.

I will have 2 days in each of the next two weeks so hope to get a lot done, the tailgate glass is really holding me up, I am having trouble getting the new rubber gasket on the track, hope a local glass company can help. more pics to come on Monday??/ Stay tuned Ryan

    Special Holiday Update!!

Well I had a holiday today so I went to the shop with my buddy Glen, hoping to get the entire front end on, even the bumper?

Well those were high expectations as we ended up mounting the hood then took some extra time to get all of the reveals perfect as well as the fenders all aligned.

Long and short of it is Hood on, fenders tight, grill on, as well as headlights, didnt quite get to the headlight buckets, actually i put one on and pulled a screw through the 50 year old metal, so i just started to do a little metal repair and ran out of time. Here are some updated pictures.

    HOOD AND FENDERS ALIGNED

A FEW SHOTS OF THE GRILL AND HEADLIGHT>>>>>>MINUS THE HEADLIGHT BUCKETS,LOL

Yeah, this is getting really exciting to watch now. Ryan's done a great job, like how he's not rushing anything, it'll show in the end.

    Friday update

My buddy Glenn and I went to work on Kath today, we got the front bumper on, the headlight buckets, wheels n hubcaps on.....then moved to the tail gate glass/door assembly.

we went to power down the arms on the power window and..............nothing, after about 2 hours and a new starter selinoid, we figured out it was the ignition switch or a connection at the switch, by then it was time to close shop, back again on Monday, another Holiday.......Here are pics from today and I will post more of Monday after we get home, Have a good weekend, RYan

Wheels n tires as well as bumper installed, no beauty rings in this one

Here is a pic with the beauty ring held up (its a 15) we just held it up to see if we liked it?

And another showing the completed front end too

And a better one with the good shot of the front end, I think it turned out really cool, if I dohave to say so myself, LOL

    See yah Monday

    Hi Ryan,
I would be afraid to drive it, it's going to be better than new. Somebody in an 85 Buick might run into it. Anyway looks really great!
