Growing up we had a 64 GMC 910 step side which my dad used as our hunting vehicle. Gun racks everywhere along with a pair of Marlin lever guns in scabbards attached to the door panels and dogs in the back, what a sight we must have made going down the road.
This truck brings back some fond memories.

I had a 67 C-30 pipe boom wrecker that served me faithfully until I replaced it in 1980 with a Ford F-350 Holmes. I had a choice between new 79 and 80 models and like a dummy chose the 80. It was the biggest piece of crap of all the tow trucks I ever owned.

Old trucks like this will always have appeal. Their values skyrocketed a few years ago, then took a nosedive. They seem to be slowly climbing again. This is a really nice example. I'm not surprised at all with the selling price.
