That seems to be an example of putting way more money into something than anyone is going to pay.

Very nice looking station wagon. Good luck on getting close to that much for it.
As my dearly departed daddy used to say "S*** in one hand and wish in the other. See which gets full the fastest!":biglaugh:

I'd be curious to view your daddy's thumbnail, Sir

Daddy always had brown fingernails. I used to think it was from holding cigarettes while smoking.:disagree:

It certainly wasn't the hand holding the wish. Wasn't it, Sir

You guys might just be surprised. The Voyager was a true 2 door hardtop wagon, and that is exceddingly rare, not to mention even more desirable than the Nomad almost hardtop roof line. It is, like the Nomad, a truly deluxe wagon, not a poverty compromise like the Ranch Wagon. It may be some overpriced, but it may just be at the top of the market for a very rade, and very fine automobile. If would be interestong to see what it does sell for.

Mercury was the only brand that did 2-door AND 4-door hardtop wagons. Available 3 years - '57, '58 and '59.

high retail is just north of 30K - but this is a beautiful example. It is worth what someone will pay. Not my style but a beautiful Wagon!

That's just my kind of car, done over in showroom form, but 54 grand is way too rich for me too. That car, or a '57, '58 Colony Park, or the first year Park Lane four door hardtop are dream cars for me.
