the american channel "history channel" has had a successful tv show on for 4 years or so, called ice road truckers. it started on the winter lake roads in the NW territories, they were kicked off the road the drivers went to the northermost ice road. then they went to Alaska. now....3 of them are going to run the cliff roads in the Himalayas!!! this is gonna be interesting. of the three two are canadian. Rick Yemm and Alex debogorski.
You should drive the MacKenzie Highway up there, in a semi loaded with construction equipment. Even 3 foot thick ice cracks when they run in a convoy, about 1/2 mile apart.
Is this the show where they had to drive across frozen lakes to take supplies...or maybe it was overside equipment...it was very intriguing Scaling mountain roads be like climbing that tower again, don't think I could handle watching that.
Love the show. Really looking forward to this new one....... White knuckle time just watching the preview......
I hope it's cold ...don't want to see the "polar bear " with any less clothes on! Great show, I'm wondering about the new led lights they have above the headlights on the trucks now. Anyone else noticed?
