Just bought a 59 Coronet Wagon

    Will be delivered in 2-3 weeks. ebay buy @ 12 minutes after auction opened. Needing to learn a whole lot about those now. Badass front end on this one. Will post pics.

    Don't I know you from the Dodge Coronet Registry? By the way, the standard big block in 59 was the 361. The D-500 performance package featured the first of the 383 engines that stuck around for many years. So if the 383 was available in the 59 Dodges as an option, then I would think that you could drop a 440 into that engineless engine bay fairly easilly. But, I'm no expert.

    cool cars but like most old mopars, not many parts for them. if there is parts, they are expensive. i have looked at several early mopar wagons and that is what made me go with a chevy in the end.

    You're right, 1965, that is one "bad ass" front end!! Not too long ago, someone had posted a pic of their '59 Coronet ambulance on here. Good luck with it and welcome.
