Now got the pink 59 home!

Just got the pink '59 Rambler wagon home this weekend,, trying to get it ready for the NSRA Nat's in my backyard ( 6 miles ) first weekend in Aug.. Has the first step of Mirror- Glaze 3 step paint enhancer by hand. Now rebuild the carb,, change brakes lines. buy tires and add 1-1/2 " white walls( Lucas porta walls) $46
Change all fluids,, send radiator out for flush/hot tank and check..
Oh I forgot Im not retired yet, gee what am I going to do then
My wife is excited about this car more than any of the 150 we've owned since 1966. that says alot for this hobby. Very grateful & Blessed.

63 FAIRLANE: I've been seeing you and family cruisin at the local shows weekly.. I was in the Pacer wagon at DQ and the 62 Rambler at Tractor Supply the next week!! I'm located off Symrna road.. 40214
We WILL BE at the Castle cruise this friday ( 600 cars).

Hope to see you friday,, I'll be inside at 5:30 eating angus burgers and homemade dessert. Someone else has posted pics in the past for me and they offered again, so pics are on the way tonight if all goes well

 

My daughter has tball friday evening, but we will probably roll out there after that. Good times... I get to meet a local with some cool wagons.
