Well we tore into the 64 and got all the seats and miscellaneous debris out of the Belair last night. I was really happy with the tote of interior parts we are able to reuse. Took down the headliner and it was raining mouse remains...nummy. The Pillars are mint. The rocker panels solid, and the wiring intact inside and out. I am more and more pleased each day. The dash pad is tore up, but the gauges and wiring are still terrific.

Ain't it the truth, Norm! I always think I will remember where things go but there are ALWAYS delays in getting back to things and time is a memory killer to me anymore. Today's instant pix is a real life saver!(y) Trouble is...I don't ever use that technology. Don't ask.

I didn't have a camera until I had the bodywork prepped, just practice from taking the donor car apart and mine as well. Major PITA. The one thing I did right was collect eggcartons and old tobacco cans and labelled them. When I got the manuals (Ford shop manuals), only a few fasteners were visible enough in the sketches to know what to pick through.

Hah, that's the easy part. :rofl2: It's those strange looking brackets and rubber grommets that will have you pondering until midnite.
