Dateline Richmond Virginia , no make that Ashland Virginia . On hwy 301 , there is a former Auto parts place that since about 1955 has had a Crosley wagon on a pole . It helped advertise the place . As luck would have it , Government once again in it's never ending quest has deemed this Crosley on a pole unaccecptable . Currently there are petitions to try and save this sign from certain death! Krash as to building a 1-25th scale version of this car, why not ? It wouldn't be out of charicter ...... In fact it would be about the size of a Volkswagen bug . O K as of yesterday, Im told the Crosley has to come down period ! Meanwhile donations are being accepted through Still Runnin magazine.com . Were not going to allow county government to just ram rod this away like they've done on other issues ! In another time , I wouldda been with T Jefferson helping him ! Ed Shaver
