nice start to a collection..... so?...theres gotta be a story behind the name too...ya? to the toolbox my friend
my first 1970 ranchero was in high school and for over the last 30 yrs, I would own a 1973 to 1979 ranchero .I have had close to 50 of them over that time frame, except from 1989 to 1994. when my first wife would NOT let me because she had issue but guess what was the first ride I got after the DIVORCE paper where signed? . I have traveled the state of Montana just to look at one. I had up to 10 in my yard at one time. some time back about 15 yrs or so, some one ask my sister at a family get to getters, why I always drive a ranchero and she replied because I was a nut! to this day I would rather drive a ranchero than any car or truck. I'm currently ranchero less and there price are getting to the point that they want 5 grand for a rust bucket but I'm still looking.
every where i go....someone will come up to me and say..... ...."arent you that Station wagon guy???"......so ya....i get it
last night. I was playing in the yard and moving some of the cars with uncle buck. I heard the noise, you don't want to hear. uncle buck was still on the fast idle, when the noise came from the lower end. you could barely hear it but it was there. when I kick it of the fast idle it went away. the noise of loose rod bearing suck! now I have to look for engine for uncle buck!

Do you have liquid filled Airguide compasses on the dashboards and those big atomic explosion flash goggles that go ever your regular glasses and sunglasses??? Do you wear a hat when you drive, carry golf clubs at all times, and drive around all day in the suburbs really slow just to bother people?
You mean one of these compasses? LOL. That's my Buick. How about the Afghans on the seats, and the rosary beads hanging from the rear-view mirror? Also, I do wear a hat when I'm driving quite often! Did all day today.
