After a long and cold winter finally the meeting season had started... a few SW's from the last 3 meetings I attended (with the Electra... still have to work on my EW):
1, the 91-92 oldsmobile custom cruiser is Gorgeous! 2, is that a Kenworth or Mack i see in the background of the one picture? ill tell you what, the fact that this happened in the Netherlands makes these pic's even more special. to have these cars here is not that special but when Gas is so expensive, and you have taxes on everything ...it take s special kind of dedication. are you guys taxed on engine size like UK is?
Quite a nice showing of wagons. I'm glad to see that. They're all nice, but those two Squires blow me away.
Except for the color, those two Squires look like the Squireshad when I was a kid. He had a blue 71 (looks very similar to the 72 pictured), followed by a gold 77.
Porsche wheels on a Corvair Lakewood? Wouldn't have thought that was possible. I suppose you're going to tell me it also has a 911 motor replacing the pancake 6...........
Wow, Rob! That looks like a fantastic time! So many great American cars over there. I sure agree with Ian...it makes me glad to know that you guys have such an appreciation of American vehicles, and the extreme dedication and effort, expense, etc., to own them. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima David
They are indeed Porsche Fuchs alloys, Porsche began using these in the mid sixties on the 911, it was in use through to 1989. The rim can also be found on the 944.
