I belong to a very casual car model club that meets at a Grocery store coffee shop once a month. Pretty much , I get to showcase the projects Ive had or am working on . I did this Chevrolet wagon I guess pretty much back in 1993. I built it from a previously built , ( BADLY ) kit too. Then I scratch built a Sears/ Elgin 3.5 horse motor for a small fishing boat to go with the wagon . meanwhile heres annother look at my 1966 Chevelle Malibu wagon at a show last Saturday
Nice detail work on wagon cargo. You know, up here, they keep trying to find pasttimes for youth to give them alternates for street gangs. I'll bet more would go to model-building sessions if they had guys like you showing them the detail wizardry. Very nice work.
I built that '55 Nomad years ago when I was a teenager. Painted it bright yellow, IIRC. I have the '66 Malibu kit right now, still unbuilt. Maybe I'll get to it soon.....Nice touch with that boat. You could make that Nomad kit with the back seat uo or down, either way.....
Unfoutunetly, the current re-issue of A M T "s 55 Chevrolet Nomad has a lot of the origional parts that have been deleted for no good reason . Get one of the Kits with the LIGHT GREEN NOMAD on the front of the box if you want a straight re-issue . Ed Shaver
