Found this on another board that I'm on. http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=92100 I would consider it, if I wasn't moving.
That would make a good front clip donation for a Fairmont. Then you'd have either a Fairbird or a Thundermont. Or in my case a Catbird.
TurboCoupe TBird at that price! Ouch... Sure looks full under the hood. I'll wait. Transport costs are not on my option list.
The engine bay is too cluttered for me. Plus, its an automatic. All the ones I've seen were sticks. Still, that would be a fun car to play with.
The 5-spd stick is always the PITA to find at a decent price. He's offering one too, but then you'd be pulling your hair out to find the linkage and clutch pedal system for the Mont.
My Fairmont is already a stick. The linkage may be a problem, though. Mine is a cable, and I bet the Bird is a hydraulic.
hydraulic is God gift to the stick swapper. All you need is a master, slave, pedal and a hose. Away you go. I never want to deal with cables or linkage again. Put a t5 into my sunbird with S10 parts. works like a dream.
