I stumbled on this site searching for my favorite cars.....WAGONS. Lot of good stuff here and great information! Anyway, my name is Rick and as you'll see from my picks, love the wagons. I have way to many and will probably end up selling the 66 Valiant to help fund my 62 Dart.
Welcome, Rick. Nice Mopars there. Way back in 1971, I had a '65 Dart 270 2 door sedan as my 4th car. Had the slant six rebuilt. Lots of Chrysler Co. people here...... Where you at in Oregon? There was a real nice red '66 (I think) Valiant wagon for sale in Eugene a while back..... Marshall
Thanks Marshall Im up north of you in Canby. Yeah, I remember drooling over that red valiant in Eugene. I think the guy eventually went down to five grand! That was a nice car but my pockets are'nt deep enough. The 65 Dart came from Eugene. Lots of old stuff hiding down there.
Welcome! Welcome, warwagons! I'm new too; I grew up in Corvallis Oregon, but I'm away from home at the moment. I'm ashamed to say I don't think I've heard of Canby though I really like the '62 Dart...are you planning a full restoration then?
Welcome wagonvisions too! Canby is a small town about 30 miles south of Portland. Complete resto on the 62 will be on what I call, "the installmant plan". A little bit at a time. It will get there though.
well...as a Ford guy who's a closet early Mopar fan... ..I'll say....those are bitchin i'd kill for a 61 wagon...that i didnt have to drive half way across the country for to you new home away from home
