When I made my introductory post, I mentioned many of the wagons my dad drove when I was young. My sister inherited the family home, so that means she probably has all the old family photos. However I found an old shoebox in my closet of photos I took in the past. In it was this old Poloroid from 1970.

Here is the pic of one of my dad's wagons. I believe it is a '67 Ford Fairlane. The '69 El Camino is mine. I was in the Air Force stationed in Louisiana protecting the Gulf Coast from communist invasion. My mom and dad and my sisters were on vacation. We met at Sam Raburn Reservoir in East Texas and camped out on July 4th.

Notice the "Camp-O-Tel" on the roof of the wagon. I wonder how many of them are still around.

Is that off HWY 281 or 81? I stayed in a camp under trees like that, one night about 3 hours north of the Mexican border.

    Excellent pic, thanks.

Sweet El Camino. I always liked the 69 Chevelle/ El Caminos with the eyebrows over the headlamps

Nice photos Tabasco. You should add that to the "vintage wagon" thread.
