    I don't think so, SS.
    Thanks again, Andy.

I know summit has headers for a 305 olds and 350 Caprice. Thew Impala SS parts will interchange even the body mounts are the same with boxes

    forever and never,amen

I remember thinking."I'll keep this one forever." about several of my wagons. I think it was Jiminy Cricket who said,"Fate, she's kind. She brings joy to those who love." Now either Jiminy meant you get momentary joy and then lose your love,,,or the love for cars isn't included in the song... But then,as Mickey Gubitosi,of the Little Rascals, used to say,"It's always something.":slap:

If I may, Mike, I'll give my opinion. I would recommend you get a B-body Roadmaster, one with low miles, in nice condition. Pay the premium for it, then do whatever 'improvements' you want as you go. You'll have a nice ride to enjoy in the meantime. Your only problem is finding a nice one in the color you want.

I'm leaning toward doing the same thing myself, when the time and finances are right.

My good friend and ace mechanic leans that way, too, Krash. I think I want to do that but, as you say, I may never find a NICE one in my colors. The seats have to be tuck & roll too. Only SOME of the '96's have those yet. SO....as I look for one of those....there are so MANY nice old ones that pop up! How I LOVE the old ones. It's a difficult dilemma for me. I like sitting in those bubble wagons for sure. But I love the quality of the older ones and the style. My age is going to have to play a factor in my decision though. In which case, the bubble wagon would be the wiser choice. OTOH...if I don't particularly want a newer wagon and want and older one and build it....well...I already have a fast car in my Mark VII. Now...if I have to buy a newer wagon....do I really NEED that. Not to just go fast...already have that. I like people seeing an old wagon and, while admiring it, laughing at it at the same time. THOSE are the people I like blowing off from the stop light!!:29:
Wipes the smile from those Mustang owners REEEEEAL quick.:yup:

In answer to your question, SS.....yes...I will travel anywhere for the right rig. The ad you show is from a correct place but he shows nothing and states no mileage. For the price I have to believe it's high miles. By the way...if you haven't seen my earlier posts....I am VERY particular to the point of perfectionism about my wagon selection. In the bubble wagons....Black on tan or Burgundy on tan only. UNLESS it is a superb car. Also must have the tuck & roll seats and not the later 96 flat leather seats. :) See what I mean? :)

A shame Olds never developed the Toronado wagon, the prototype looked nice
