    Hey guys.

Ive just fitted a new radiator to my 85 grand marquis and I've got a leak from the transmission coolant connection. The connectors that rock auto supplied with the radiator are different from the connectors on the steel pipes.

Has anyone come across this before?

    Thanks in advance.
    Colin.

Can you get a picture of the part that is leaking? What brand is the radiator?

I got it sorted in the end. I cut the failed connection off, that left me with a 10mm steel line. I got a compression adaptor from my local plumbing suppliers.

I saw a video on you tube were the guy used Flexi hose and jubilee clips, I didn't like the look of that.

    Here's my fix.
