Thanks, I had read that while comparing it to old ads but already forgot it…

Carlisle is MUCH more than a car show. They have a swap meet, car coral, car auction and multiple "other" events through out the four day events......Longroofs Rule!.

I love it. So many great cars. I loved the 62-65 B-Bodies! Thanks for sharing.

I have my eye on the two big Dodge 4X's (which, IIRC, Dodge classes theirs as wagons, just as Ford classed their vans as wagons). Interesting that the green one may have been a guv'mint or company truck, there's a round spot in the paint on the door from a logo, buuuut....the roof is white. No way the U.S. Military would've had a white roof on an OD green rig.

That 55 was for sale. You could have another one! But I didn't get the price or the seller's contact info. As was said, there was alot going on for the Chrysler show. I didn't attend any of the seminars, nor did I wait in line for any autographs or "thrill rides in new Dodges. But I did watch the rolling burnout contest (a 69 Charger won) and I was also a spectator when Claudia Abel Passalacqua, Miss Direct Connection 1984 and TV personality Christi Lee posed on the wing of a friend's Superbird, then sat on my friend's two restored Richard Petty riding lawn mowers as he trailered them through the grounds in a small parade. The Petty mowers were originaly sold by Montgomery Wards and Lowes. And Miss Direct Connection 1984 was looking rather good for her age.
As for me, I drove my white 68 Barracuda fastback. It was the easiest old car I have to toss the Belvedere wagon rear bumper into. The first thing I did when I got to the event on Thursday was to drop the bumper off at Tri-City Plating for re-chroming.

A very nice showing of wagons, for sure. I never saw a Valiant ambulance; you'd think they would've gone full size but I guess it was big enough.
Thanks for all the pics, '68 and congrats to Jack Wagon. Looks like you've got a nice find ther.
