Ha! Really? That's hilarious. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for that info Marshall.

Salmon and black is okay, but sub in seafoam for the black, you'll have one helluva car.

Yeah. I have to go back and get it. It was an impulse buy and we were in the Subaru wagon. It’s all there and I’d never seen one before. I wasn’t too fond of it till I saw the seafoam green one.

Yes. I’ve only owned one Dodge before and it was a 61 windowed panel truck.
We went to see the Shelby and ended up buying this. Shelby is not for sale it is a concours winner so highly rated that it cannot compete anymore. It’s been in museums but he doesn’t want it away from home anymore.
I’m not in love with the Dodge but in serious “Like” with it!

Yes. 3 speed, the clutch feels like new still. It looks like the small v-8. A 370?. We’re not sure if it’s a 55 or 56 as he has to dig out the title. Everything looks original including the hubcaps.
They did have it started but that was a few years ago. All parts are there including the jack and spare tire.
It’s a Coronet Sierra so I think it’s the base model, not a Royal.
I’ll bring her home and clean her up, see what we have, then decide wether or not she stays. I was not looking for another car.
    But..Wagons are Wagons!
If you see something interesting get out of your car and talk to the people!

Congrats on the new wagon purchase!

It appears to be a 1955, and I think it's the top-of-the-line 'Custom Royal' model, based on the appearance of the trim.

I hope so! It only has the Coronet and Sierra names on the outside but the mouldings and two tone are pretty fancy.

this is what sold me. The hardware to operate the back door. C1FC5864-A5E0-40D9-94B6-E9F6720587A0.jpeg

It wasn’t for sale…but I asked knowing someone would want it. All I could think of on the way home was “crap! I just bought a pink car…”
Any info from you guys will be greatly appreciated. I have the ID number but haven’t found the proper decoder yet.
    Thanks!

I know very little about Chrysler Dodge Plymouth cars. This one stood there thru all the tornado activity a few years ago and he had sold it to a buddy a while back but that guy went off the end of a drag strip at about 170 and hadn’t picked it up yet. He gave the $ back to the widow and so it’s been sitting there since.
This may be my death wish buying her, I think she may be closely related to Christine…

That shouldn't take a whole lot of time or effort to clean up and made better-looking. I love the steering wheel.
