The only thing I can think is that the frame is rotted, the engine and trans are missing and someone died in the interior for this Ranchero to be this crazy cheap. And yet ... it looks pretty good on the outside.

Would it have killed the seller to be a bit more descriptive in his ad?

Do you also have to take the trash in it?

Looks like the remains of a fiberglass tank/container. What I'm more interested in is the other piece of lawn art, that would be a project.

I'm sure there's a Kijiji ad somewhere for it.

The seller has four boats, two generators, an Alfa Romeo and and oil wall furnace for sale, besides the Ranchero. One of the boats looks sorely neglected, but the Mercury outboard looks interesting.

Some of you may remember the interesting vehicles in the background behind this Ranchero when it was for sale a while back. The seller has now posted two of the cars that could be seen in the background for sale.

The seller says the first one is a "Bugatti Talbo", but I suspect he means a "Talbot-Lago", specifically a “Talbot-Lago T150-C SS Coupé aérodynamique ‘Goutte d’Eau’, Figoni & Falaschi”. He doesn't say this, but I'm guessing this is a fiberglass replica that he was trying to build at one time. If it was a true Talbot-Lago it would be worth a crap load of money. Also, the feeble attempt at the frame suggests a home-build. On the other hand, it might've been just a hack to keep the body together and on wheels to roll around.

So maybe all the crap in the back of the Ford Ranchero was old fiberglass moulds or rejected attempts? What say you, folks?

It's the perforated angle steel that appears to be used as the frame that gets me.
