Hey Yall! had the best Christmas so far. The hubbs got me a 64 Olds Dynamic 88 Fiesta wagon. Interior has been mostly redone, no engine/trans. Its currently stashed it over at a buddies farm so had to get some glamor shots. From the hood to the farm, this ain't gonna be your parents station wagon! I have a zz4 crate engine with the hotcam kit sitting in my shop. Have to teardown and inspect as a buddy overrevved it and number 1 cyl is down in the pan. Have my eyes on a small roots style charger currently which would be killer. Planning on that with holley sniper injection, either a 5 or 6 speed trans, staggered wheels and either coilovers or bags. Going to keep a rat look but white pearl the roof (possible lace job), throw down some pinstriping and rechrome the bumpers. Let the building begin.
I read a car term yesterday-pertaining to four-door sedans and wagons: a 'door factory.' It looks to be a pretty straight door factory, so have fun, and plenty of pics!
Looks like the little one is quite happy about getting a longroof to cruise in next summer!.....Longroofs Rule!
