Guess in todays market this is not far off https://meadville.craigslist.org/cto/d/greenville-1984-mercury-grand-marquis/7377787095.html
Based on pictures, which could have been better, and the market this car is correctly priced. Car has the front window vent option - believe 84 was the last year for that . My 85 & 89 did not have vent windows - the problem with the front windows that did not have the vent, was that if you put them down and then got up to speed the window would get "sucked" to far out to go up into the top track, had to slow down and then put it up.
Actually the Front vent window was carried through to ‘91. The latter models had the flip switch on the vent window. My ‘86 LS has them, and I love them
In the dealers defense though, it does say grand marquis on the tailgate. Plus, he is probably too young to even remember when these cars were on the road. It doesn’t seem that long ago that these cars were all over the place, to us older guys, but to someone 40 years old who might remember them as a small child it must seem like an eternity
Why is water on the car? I know it could have rained, and I don't see much water on the ground around the car, but I wonder why. My 1990 Grand Marquis L.S. Wagon does not have them. Was it a Sedan-only Feature, by then?
No. It was an option. The vents were available on wagons or sedans. The water looks like dew. The red Mustang next to it is wet as well.
As an aside I did find an ‘89 colony park with vents. They sure seem rare on the wagon, but I’ve seen a few more sedans with them.
