    It's the wrong color. His was a champagne color, IIRC.

    It’s a bit suspicious how he says repainted green. Normally If that were the original color seems to me it would have been worded to reflect a repaint in its original blah blah blah green. Just am observation. But it is a lovely car.

    For some unknown reason, Oliver later traded the Lincoln Continental for a Mercury Marquis (which always looked dirty).

    Maybe he knew he was gonna get canceled in the 1971 CBS Country show purge and he and Lisa needed to tighten the ole belt. No Lincoln Lisa, and NO washes. He was actually relieved that they no longer offered a convertible by the time he bought this ‘69, dirty as it is.

    but late in the series he got a new Ford Tractor. Maybe traded the Lincoln for the tractor and the mercury?
