OK, Jeff - The 'Functional Ram Air' was deleted on this one. Why? Were there certain states where it wasn't legal? Appears this one was sent to New York.

There were certain counties were the functional shaker hood would not pass drive by noise regulations. A good friend on mine ordered a 1974 GTO, and had to got to a dealer in the next county over as Royal Oak MI had stricter noise regulations than the rest of Michigan. It was the 1st time I had heard of such a situation.
I wold bet it was a situation like that. I know by 1974 only the Ventura based GTO had a functional Shaker scoop, even the T/A's scoops were closed with the bolt on block off plate.

I agree that is not the original window sticker - it is a reproduction. But the info can still be legit.

That's my dream car. Why? Because everyone has Camaros, and you couldn't get a 454 in a 73 Camaro. :)

The one most important overlooked fact is that it is indeed not a factory Super Duty 455 car. That changes the pricing. And just because he has an XD block doesn't mean that the rest of the SD pieces are present - for the amount that is being asked (approaching legit matching SD car territory) I would want more info. Hopefully the seller is a reasonable fellow to requests like that - some guys are downright jerks when you ask them for that.

The aftermarket power antenna and t-tops are detractors for me as well.

That Formula you posted a pic of Jeff is absolutely beautiful. I would have definitely gone for something like that........
