    These were from my high school days. There were reasons they were only built two years. Pathetic performance, especially with the the AT, would be one of them.

    Yeah, even when I was in high school this was a car no one would want for the above mentioned reasons.

    The story about the lady buying it because everyone was excited about "the first personal 2 seater since the Thunderbird" makes me laugh. Because... if you want a personal 2 seater car, they still made the Thunderbird and you could go to your local Ford dealer and get one (or a Cougar). They also made the Pinto as well...

    What was the Probe called in this body style? That one seemed a bit more popular. X something?

    Crack response is correct. Seller is a flipper. Paid $10k for it on Bring A Trailer, and now expects to more than double his money. I thought $10k was a strong price.

    How many people will even remember what this car is at this point in 2021? This model lasted for 2 years and was never popular.
