One of eight to many! Not a fan of either make, but there is so many things WRONG with this! That being said good luck to the seller.....Longroofs Rule but not a four door "shooting brake"!
Can I just mention......I HATE this. Seen quite a few pics of it over the years...... Looking at the pics and reading the text, this is definitely NOT a perfect wagon. And I note that only the FRONT door windows are powered...... I'd pass on this and just look for nicely-equipped REAL Country Squire.
I would also suspect they used a country sedan body. Why get a Squire and scrape the wood off of it. Besides the interior, other than garnish moldings, and maybe headliner and back load area would be the same. Either way a sad use of good Rolls parts and an otherwise usable Ford wagon. Agreed new at that price I would have opted for an absolutely loaded Squire. Or bought the Lincoln Colony Park from Eagle Continental in Dallas
I say it's cool and some different, it will be the only one at the car show. Cars are a canvas to make whatever you want with it. I would have done it different but I respect there decision and taste.
Sold, while not a fan, someone put more than $15.1 into this thing. Guess it would be cool for awhile, then pass it off to the next.
Interesting novelty. Not to my taste but looks like it was well built. Kind of reminds me of those front ends people would put on VW Bugs.
Except not sold. And not a single mention of the previous auction. 1971 Ford Country Squire Rolls-Royce Station Wagon | eBay
