Seats are worn, but this era of interior wasn't known for robustness. The rear seats look fine, but those rear plastic trim pieces are in pretty sad shape for a car that doesn't have a ton of miles on it. My '73 Grand Am 20 years ago looked about the same, plastic in this era just wasn't great.

I think my older sister had one of these for a while, after she was married. I don't think she liked it much though - too big for her. I think her next car was the '78 Firebird Formula 400.

Boy, I remember when these were everywhere. This is a nice color combo. Ya know what I'd like to see make a comeback? Look at the dash, it has the GM crotch-cooler AC vents. Nice and effective, especially after a days work.....My MKS has cooled seats, but its not the same as having a blast of ice cold R12 blowing at yer boys....

As much as I like giving my GM friends crap, that's one thing GM did in spades. Every GM I had had a great HVAC system - I hate to say - better than my FoMoCo's.

Same here......EXCEPT the Automatic Temperature Control in the '81 Safari. Whatever YOU wanted out of the system, whether heat, cold or defrost, it was never enough......
