Hey guys I have C6 Corvette Rims on 1996 RM Wagon. I'm wondering if I should put the rear wheels in the front and the front wheels in the back due to the width difference? Any advice would be helpful!

What size wheel are they? What tire is mounted on them?

245/40R18 front tire and a 285/35R19 rear tire.

    Are you having interference issues?

I'm thinking that maybe the rears are overkill. I'd consider ditching the rears for another couple of the FRONT size. Maybe some enterprising C6 owner wants to try running the rear size on the front......

The 11 inch wide rears may be a little too wide for the wagon. The wagon originally has 7.5 inch wide wheels. An 8.5 inch wide Impala rim fits with about 1.5 inches of tire clearance on the inside with 255-50-17s, and less on the outside. The sidewalls will "puff out" more with the 11 inch wide rim. You can run a taller tire to get the diameter you need. Stock tires are 28 inches in diameter. If you go to a smaller tire diameter, you need to have your computer reprogrammed for the tire size. With a 9.5 inch wide rim, you may have tire interference with the frame or fender if you use more than a 235 tire. A 235-55-18 would be the correct diameter. You also need spacers to center the rim/tire in the wheel well. You may be able to use a wider tire, but I have never tried that rim/tire on a wagon. A 255-50-18 will also be the correct diameter, but it may scuff the sidewalls on the frame or fender with the 9.5 inch wide rim. A narrow tire on a wide rim will make your ride much more harsh, because the sidewall will not have the ability to flex as much. Have fun getting them to fit.
