This one has possibilities..... Seems in better shape than my '81 Safari was. Wouldn't take much to make it looking A-1 sharp. Most likely a solid specimen, being in Alabama. Currently at $3,200 on E-Bay, you might have a ways to go before the flipper sees a profit.

Actually I did, but since I pointed it out on the last ‘73 Country Squire on here, I didn’t want to appear too competitive. Lol. I’m assuming that knob up by the clock activates it. Not sure if it automatically just washed with every time you put the window down, or you controlled the operation.

I messaged the guy asking about the toggle switch to the left of the clock. He said was to activate the AC compressor. If you look at the switch for the tailgate window, it says, PUSH WASH.

Two wagons with the washer option in one week, how 'bout that.

The way it worked, you lowered the window into the tailgate, then pushed the switch "in" and hold.. The glass would rise, get squirted and squeegeed on the way up. I did not know the knob was different from the non-washer wagons, that is the first "labeled" knob I have ever seen.

I really think if they had staged this car better, and had all its wheel covers with white walls this car would pop. It may have a last minute sprint, but man this car is a real jewel. If I bought it I would try and find the deluxe wires for it and really spruce it up. It’s a real diamond in the ruff. That one would have caught my eye if I were working on the line at the plant in St. Louis.
