Man! That is a lot of rust.
I still keep think that it's pretty awesome that you are saving this one. I think a lot of people would have walked away.
    You have my admiration :tiphat:

Where did you find the dog leg panel? Is it a sedan panel? Anyway it's looking good so far, keep grinding away at it (pun intended)!.....Longroofs Rule!

Ebay - Yes 60 Sedan. It’s almost perfect to the contour, but I’m super glad that I did have to make my own.

OMG!! I'll be honest, I would have passed on mine if it had that much rust. On the other hand, I applaud you for saving the wagon. Just a lot of work and money. Can't wait to see the finished product...it's gonna be grand! (go to page 3 of the Garage for pictures of "Sarge".)

Sarge is looks Great and it’s gonna be even better with the LS6!!! Well done! Time is my money on this girl and I I don’t have enough! It’s a slow project with many areas needing attention. But when she done, it gonna be fun

I feel for you on the rust, being on the north side of the lake I've worked with as bad and worse over the years.

I see you pulled the rear bumper. I am looking for serviceable bumper guards. My right guard is rusted. If you plan to replace yours, would you consider selling those? If so, post a picture. Tailgate.jpg

Yes those mine need repair. They look like they have the rust cut out but no replacement of the metal. Basically big holes right where you have the dent

If they are not rusted, they can be reformed and chromed. My left one can be fixed, but the right has to be replaced. They only came on the wagon and El Camino in 60...that makes them scarce.
