More progress. I couldn't find emergency brake cables. I was introduced to a company that custom makes them but they were expensive. I took a good look at the originals (glad I didn't trash them) and they weren't frayed and seemed to be in good shape. I hung them in the cellar and sprayed them with penetrating oil over the span of a week. They loosened up nicely and move easily. Now I'll install them.

Weather is warming up and snow melted away. I got underneath the rear wheel well and marked off where the splash shield bracket should be. I'll weld in the one I fabricated soon.

I would keep spraying them, to try to flush any rust particles out, then blow them out with compressed air before fully greasing them. Do not use Lubriplate or other lithium-based lubes, as they are water-soluble. Use non-extreme pressure grease (old formula bearing grease, like what front drum brakes got in their bearings) to lube them.

Will do. They move really good so it was just a little corrosion from non use.

Ok, nice weather here in the northeast. Fuel tank is in. I made a new fuel line, filler neck is connected and I got the splash shield on. Now for the rear axle.

Sometimes this happens, why I have no clue. Maybe one of the administrators can help with the situation?.....Longroofs Rule!

Just a quick inspection of the broken links, looks like you are loading them from a Facebook page. The board software is trying to read those images, and is either not finding them or Facebook is rejecting the board reading them. Check your permissions if that is the case.

Side note: Your sugar skull image loading from the T-shirt factory is still showing up correctly.

It's supposed to warm up this weekend. Maybe I can get on the sugar skull painting.

Ok, I'm not that computer savvy. I don't know how to edit my Facebook settings.
