    Hi all,

just curious and this may be a dumb question but does the window portion on a 57 wagon lock? I know it is separate from the tailgate but when I went to look at her the owner just opened it. Or did people not steal things back in the 50’s?

    Mike,
I would think it did have a lock on the window portion for sure. I have '53 Country Squire and it does have an upper tailgate lock in the handle. Hopefully someone will reach out to you on the forum and help you out more specifically on your request.

If you cant find an answer soon, I have a buddy who is a 1940s-1960s Ford aficionado/expert (he owns a '57 Fairlane 4-door) who I can connect you with, if need be. He's very friendly and helpful.

Hey Mike, may be too late, but on my 55 the liftgate handle has the pushbutton for the latch, then the lock is on the opposite side, has a flip down cover. Take care, Picachored
