Hey everyone, I have been looking for a forum that was more into the wagons and I think I might have found my forever forum. I own a 1970 Chevy Kingswood. Its not in show condition but it is getting close to being fully road worthy. The previous owner did some body work. Since I picked top the car I got all the lights working, got the hood to close since an aftermarket radiator was too tall, tires, replaced the entire exhaust, swapped out the two barrel for a 4 barrel and the most recent project was resealing the front windshield. Other than little things the next project will most likely be fixing up the suspension. Anyways glad to be here and can't wait to see everyones cars as I spend more time here. Thanks Josh
Welcome DadWagon! You definitely found the right place to hang your hat, so to speak! A lot of great people and knowledge is available 'round here! Also some goofiness sprinkled in! This is a station wagon forum but we LOVE ALL MOTOR CONTRAPTIONS AND PICTURES OF SUCH! Hope you enjoy your stay.....Longroofs Rule!
By the way, that's a nice looking Chevy platform you got going there, what's your plans for it ? I have a 65 vista cruiser that I have been steward of since 2017.(I love it!) Bone stock and original. Well keep us posted on your wagons progress and let's see lots of pictures!....Longroofs Rule!

Welcome DadWagon! Sounds like you have made quite a bit of progress on your wagon already. As you know or have figured out, they're never really "done"...
Welcome aboard Josh. Glad you found us. Looks like you have a pretty neat car there. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one.
Love the vista cruiser. Such a cool looking car. The plans for the car right now are to get it road worthy. Next steps are to get the blower motor working and got parts for the windshield wiper and sprayer to work. My long term plans are more than likely to go the restomod route. But plans can always change. I want it to be a reliable family wagon to take to the beach or to national parks. I will try and start a build thread and include pictures of what I have accomplished so far. when I just got a new computer and the pictures need to be resized to upload. The only down fall to this vehicle that I have found is there is not much stock or aftermarket support. So there is going to be a decent amount of fab work in the future. Luckily I think I have all of the trim. Will just need to spend time smoothing it out.
Welcome to the forum. The same year we had a cream colored colony park, my uncle had a cream colored Kingswood like yours. Have a soft spot for those. Good luck with your wagon and welcome aboard!
I started a new thread with more pictures with more to follow. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/1970-kingswood.55115/#post-485723
