I bought one of those just like this one, back in 2011, and I only paid $4,500...........

Wow, that's quite a markup from your asking price Krash! and all they had to do was the woodgrain. For their asking price it would have been nice if they detailed the engine bay or at least cleaned/polished up the spoke wheel covers.

^^ Other than the new woodgrain, it looks like they gave it a good wash job, and Armor-all'd the tires. I don't notice anything else that they did. At the price they're asking, I would have at least painted up the Rally II wheels I sold it with, and mounted those with new whitewall tires. Would have improved the appearance 100%. I guess spending $800 or so more was just going to cut into their profit.......

Well they are aiming pretty high on that price. I'd sell my 78 Estate Wagon for half that and it's in similar condition!

I first noticed this used vehicle dealership back around 2010 when I was still doing vehicle damage appraisal. Had an assignment over in the area and passed by the place - it's right on the highway. Noticed even back then the prices they had on the windshields were pretty far out there. Sort of had a chuckle to myself when the guy who came to buy it told me where the place is......

Well, dealers can always dream, but the noted laziness here. Detail the wire wheel covers and engine compartment would help a lot. Also, replace the automatic power antenna. The missing rear bumper fillers are also a glaring omission. None of these would be terrible flaws but for the ridiculous asking price as it currently sits. I see this dealer looking at this one a long time at that price.

Those Rally II wheels may be their own profit center are are being sold seperately.

Well yeah! I paid 4 or 5 hundred for them around 2013, so with these guys, bidding will start around $2,000........ and they're still going to be red.

Yeah, I just got tired of the wagon, and not being able to do what I wanted with it (don't want to go into detail on that subject....). Started out at what I thought was a pretty fair price, considering all you would have to do to it to make it 'Grade A'. It still only has around 50,000 miles on it, so that's a plus. It just didn't look all that great. The buyer for the used car lot was the only one who showed any interest.

I'll be driving the Dakota for a while, enjoying it right now - just got the license plates for it yesterday. I suspect some time in the future I'll have another wagon.......
