Aw, man, you lucky sons-of-guns! Well, I can't complain, I've rode the Santa Train on the Snoqualmie Falls Museum back in the Seventies. Your kids will have those memories for the rest of their lives...as well as you. I think your smile was much bigger than either of theirs!

Made a stop for lunch at the Lariat Drive thru the other day. It's been here since 1962 and it hasn't really changed since.
Still serving the same delicious food and shakes.

I’ve noticed your little 4 legged guy know just what window to lean out of to have his picture took. What a little camera hound.

He's leaning out, saying "Where's my cheeseburger?"

You need a 460 in those to get down the road properly!

The boys and I had quite an adventure last weekend.

First we went to a local fruit stand/gift shop that is located in a cherry orchard not too far from our house.
They have an ice cream counter, so of course we decided to "support our local small business" and buy a few scoops.

After we left we went for a little drive in a neighborhood we don't often visit. As we were going along I just happened to notice this car out of the corner of my eye.

    IMG_8955.JPG

I thought "I know that car!" so we decided to pop in and see if anyone was home.

Sure enough the owner of the car Gary, who was cleaning out some of his garage space for new flooring to be installed, happened to be coming out the door.
He invited us in and we spent at least an hour looking at all of his cool stuff!

He has a couple of amazing hotrods

Oh, I need the chrome on that 67. So much nicer trim than I have for mine.

I remember hearing about The Fruit Place, but never got there. Finding that guy at home was very cool.

It's a great spot. Hay rides through the orchard in the fall, a straw bale maze for the little ones. Great family atmosphere.

Yeah it was. We had a great time. We're looking forward to going back.
