76 Safari wagon radio

    I bought a Grand Safari last fall. The radio seems to turn on but at full volume i can barely hear it. What should i start looking for? Thank you for the help

    Have your speakers been changed? If you are using the stock Delco radio, the resistance of the speakers MUST be between 8-10 Ohms. Common speakers available today for autos are 4 Ohms and will blow the final transistors in no time. Take a look there first.
