Hi, I'm Ken and I live in Texas. I am trying to gather more info on a 1989 Mercury Marquis wagon that I inherited from my aunt. It runs great (that good ol' Ford 5.0) but whether to keep it or not... I dunno. Anyway, nice to meet you folks! Ken
Hey Preacher. Are you seriously asking wagon owners if you should keep it? OH YEA KEEP IT And we want
to the Wagon Train! Deff a silly question, ofcourse you have to keep it and post us up some That has to be a rule written down somewhere around here.
Nah, Ken, give it to one of us guys in Texas. Of course, hang onto that fine Ford wagon. Not a question you'd want to ask here, like others have said. Welcome to the inner sanctum.
Welcome Welcome Ken. You're among friends now so you can call that 5.0 what it is, a 302-fuel injected!:2_thumbs_up_-_anima Let's see some pictures!!
Of course if you really don't what that old wagon you can give it to me and I can put the engine in my car.
I'd say that leaf blower came in handy, seeing that pic of the engine compartment. It looks like it hadn't been driven in a while. Is that the case? Based on the front seat, I'm thinking that's an LX, which gave you a more luxurious interior with the velour or leather. I'll bet she cleaned up real well. I'd love to see a picture after you were all done. By all means, do not sell it. It's way too nice of a car to let go of.
No, it has been sitting next to my Dad's carport for several months. He just got a new Explorer Sport Trac. So he gave the wagon to me. I've got it up for sale locally, but it runs great, so I won't let it go for nothing. If I don't sell it, I'll keep it. No worries. I'll try to get some photos after the car wash. Its raining here now, so maybe in a couple of days...
