Hi, I'm Ken and I live in Texas. I am trying to gather more info on a 1989 Mercury Marquis wagon that I inherited from my aunt. It runs great (that good ol' Ford 5.0) but whether to keep it or not... I dunno.

Anyway, nice to meet you folks! :tiphat:

Nah, Ken, give it to one of us guys in Texas. :rofl2:

Of course, hang onto that fine Ford wagon. Not a question you'd want to ask here, like others have said. Welcome to the inner sanctum. :Welcome:

Well, it is a bit of a boat. The Queen Mary to be exact!

    Here's a couple of shots:

I'd say that leaf blower came in handy, seeing that pic of the engine compartment. It looks like it hadn't been driven in a while. Is that the case? Based on the front seat, I'm thinking that's an LX, which gave you a more luxurious interior with the velour or leather. I'll bet she cleaned up real well. I'd love to see a picture after you were all done.
By all means, do not sell it. It's way too nice of a car to let go of.

No, it has been sitting next to my Dad's carport for several months. He just got a new Explorer Sport Trac. So he gave the wagon to me. I've got it up for sale locally, but it runs great, so I won't let it go for nothing. If I don't sell it, I'll keep it. No worries.

I'll try to get some photos after the car wash. Its raining here now, so maybe in a couple of days...

Oops, my bad. The LX was for the Squire; it'd be an LS since it's a Colony Park.
