Not that I want to relive a early to mid 80's rentacar experience but this car would do it, about as Base a K car as you could ever find. But in fantastic shape, it could be yours for $3300.00 https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/d/chicago-1982-dodge-aries/6964917377.html
It is in great condition. Still not sure I could be on board for 3300. MAYBE 2500?? And then I’d probably instantly regret it. Some one liked it though. It’s been deleted. It’d be a fun first car for some responsible young driver.
Not a car I would have expected to sell so fast, but what else in that condition can you buy for $3300.00? I just remember how I hated driving early K cars, I had been driving mid to late 70's Mid sized GM cars that at least road well, if they were not much faster than a K car. I just remember these not tracking straight, and having all of about 80 HP and having torque steer like a 300 HP FWD car. I am told the later versions drive better.
These are front wheel drive too right? What’s the base Motor like a 2.0 or 2.2 something like that? But then they put a hemi in some didn’t they? That’s a little bigger? My girl friend had one and all I can remember is it seemed kinda...what’s a good word..flimsy? Like it could fall apart any minute. Course they could have been operator error
