Hey guys. Just got back from the auction out in Carlisle. Had a great time with my 3 bros and cousins out there. I'm afraid to say the wagons were, as always it seems, few and far between, but it's still a whole lot of fun checking out all the cool old stuff.
I remember in one of the recent postings that somebody said they were looking for an Olds Fiesta wagon. I found one there and took some pix of it. Yikes, it's a project car and a half, let me tell you. Every single pane of glass is cracked or broken and in fact, the right rear one of the cargo area is flat out missing with a piece of wood in its place. I took some pictures of it with my cell phone and I'll try to post them. Wish me good luck because I'm not too computer savvy!
The owner wants $13500 for it and I think it's ridiculously priced. I also took some pics of a '56 Ford wagon, basically all done and ready to go for only $12,500. It has a new but incorrect interior and the exterior is beautiful.

Well, I guess I'm doing it 1/2 right because if you click on the pictures, they will come up as full size.

Yeah - he's asking a lot for the Fiesta, but he's gonna get more than a few hunnert for it....Even needing a total resto that will put you back $40k, paying $8k for a basket case make sense when the result could be worth $70k.

Whoa! Not that long ago, I could find cars like that for under $1000. I bought a '57 Buick Roadmaster a few years back, borderline parts car/restorable car, that was loaded with options for $160.

I was there also, drove the T&C. She made it, consumed some oil, had a coolant leak ( fixed temp. w/baresleak) and had a good time. I parked on the hill at the amoury not far from the tank. I saw a 69 Plym Sprt Sub for 2500 w/383. green on green, good show, even w/o lotsa Mopar parts. made a good conncetion for parts and radio updrade/restore. MPJ

I think this is the same car that was just posted for sale for $14500. You'll probably recall the guy at Carlisle was asking $13500 for it and I thought that was high. First off, it's the same color, (how many of them are left), and it looks like it has the same wheels. I'm pretty sure it's the same one.
