Picked up a couple Tootsietoy and Hubley diecast vehicles at annual Dunkirk Auto Fleamarket last weekend. Decent shape making for a nice restore. The Ford Ranch Wagon was one that I did not previously have in my collection.

Nice! I assume the Super Duty tractor is the Hubley?

Those turned out very nice. As I get older, more of my time at swap meets is spent
on Hot Wheels and Matchbox and whatever other toy cars are out there.

Recently I found another Tootsietoy Station Wagon. This one is a 47 Buick Woody Wagon. Not in bad shape. I straightened it out and gave it a fresh coat of paint and will add it to my collection.

Started on a Buddy L Ford Station Wagon. This one was pretty beat up and missing parts. Lowered the suspension, sand blasted the body, making a list of parts I need to customize this one.

Almost finished with the Buddy L Ford Wagon. Still need to find a rear bumper and windshield. After I lowered the suspension I could not get the plastic for the side woodgrain trim so I eliminated the mounting holes. I built a new metal tailgate, reformed the broken front bumper, detailed the interior, gave the top a good off white paint job and then gave the body a patina look. Some of the bare spots will be getting a little more rust.

That's pretty amazing transformation. So if you are going for the patina look does that mean this is as far as you're going on the finish?
