Oldsmobile power is cool

 

That is a Cadillac engine. The Oldsmobile 425 had been out of production for 10 years when this car was built.

 

That engine in there's painted a Toronado color. That's why I thought he had dropped an Olds into it

 

They may look similar, but the valve covers give it away as a Caddy engine. And that is a GM corporate blue, which started ending up on many late '70s GM engines, from the 1.8L four-banger on up.

 

Correct GM Corporate Blue, used on most GM engines from mid 77 till the mid 1980's

 

Yep, my 1977 Corvette was that same 'Ford' blue.

 

My favorite colors. Considering where it is now, it could be John Deere Green.
