Unusually equipped to say the least. https://pullman.craigslist.org/cto/d/colfax-1980-camaro-berlinetta/6786536522.html
Looks like a nice clean car. I'm more accustomed to the later Berlinetta Camaros. I forget that they were offered in this body style.
I didn't think 2nd Gen Camaro's used a V6 as the base engine, but after looking it up both Buick 231 & Chevy 229 V6's were the base engines in 80 & 81. I remember seeing quite a few I6 powered late 70's Camaro's but apparently they were 1979 or older models. Firebirds switched to V6's earlier 1977 I believe Looks to be a Clean very base model Camaro, at least the 3-speed manual will be a floor shift, not a column shift.
MIGHT be a good looking car. For $11,000 you’d think the guy would have taken at least one picture closer than 20ft away
i didn’t see that in the ad. That’s what pictures are for. Dummies who can’t read! Or maybe it’s someone interested but doesn’t really understand English? What’s he afraid of, someone stealing pictures of the car? Could be one of those people who acts like your a jerk for asking questions. It’s also possible that a serious buyer might call and pester the seller with said annoying questions. I don’t know, does being vague really help in weeding out the flakes?! Ya learn something new every day I guess
It wasn't in this ad, but I keep seeing it more and more lately. Even cars that aren't exactly rare or high dollar, guys act like they're doing us a favor with one 50 foot picture in bad lighting and then tell us anyone who is serious will come out and look at it in person. Actually, most people are not interested in dedicating that much time to a very likely wild goose chase sale halfway across the country. The point of online sales these idiots are missing is that you expand your audience to a wide variety of people across the country\world. Insisting people call or come visit before seeing any halfway decent photos is just ridiculous. The only real way a car is sold sight unseen with any regularity these days is it is so cheap to the buyer it doesn't matter.
Ah, sarcasm gets lost through text sometimes. Haha. Maybe it’s because of the reality shows these days? I think people see something that resembles their car sell on tv for some crazy price and they assume that’s what their car is worth? It’s a good looking car (from here). I think the seller might be adding extra cost due to the extra set of wheels maye?
