Picked up a 72 chevelle Concours wagon and not finding many parts out here like other classic cars. Anyone have a few links
If you've never had any experience with a wagon, your going to find a lot of parts and pieces are specific to a wagon. This makes it hard to find parts obviously. Sometimes it is easier to find a complete parts car. Good luck in your search, you've started in a great forum!...Longroofs Rule!
I messed with a 72 once back in the 90s. Sold it before paint .parts I found where few and far . Lucky this one only needs 2 headlight extension and I found a passenger side on a chevelle forum I'm on . Car needs more dent repair and some rise cut out . I dont think it will be a hard one
Sounds like you got a good grasp of the situation. Good luck with getting your wagon up and going! (Pictures Please!).... Longroofs Rule!
Depending on what you need (or are looking for), most '68-'72 Chevelle (2 and 4 door) parts should work. The main difference is from the rear doors back. For aftermarket parts suppliers, try Year One, Classic Industries, National Parts Depot, etc. or a Chevelle owners forum. Good luck!
Just got a opg chevelle elcamino book in I know headlight extension and fenders are not same as car What about door panels .thinking 4 door car might work . Lucky I dont need many parts. Just have body work Thanks for info you sent
My reference to the '68 - '72 was meant mainly for mechanical parts. Yes, door panels from a four door should work, along with most everything else from a four door.
