Nice condition, yes, but low option. No luggage rack, no power windows or locks. No tilt wheel. No rear defogger. Dog-dish hubcaps. AM-only radio. No third seat.

It does have A/C, clock, trip odometer, cruise control. He shows a stack of 8-track tapes, but the radio is not an 8-track player. He says it has an 8-track player, but the radio in the photo is not one. He also says the car has power locks, but it doesn't. There are no switches of any kind on the driver's door or any door. Just the remote control for the outdoor mirror.


Show me the power lock switch.





If this radio also played 8-tracks, it would have "eject" and "program" buttons on it. It is a plain, AM-only radio.





Having said all of the above, I'd still take this car in a heartbeat because of the excellent condition. You just can't beat that.

Yes I just searched and found the old link but with a higher price. This wagon looks mint. If someone could get it for 8-9 k that would be fair. You can pay 5k just for a paint job these days.

 

I'm SHOCKED this doesn't have a 301 in it....

 

Sort of wondering whether it might have been optioned out as perhaps a Fire Dept. Chief's car....?

 

I don't think so as it has quite a few options for a government ordered car, 403, gauges, A/C, upgraded interior with the Split Bench Seat, in dash AM 8-Track, Sport Mirrors, Bumper Guards with rub strips that I can see.

My Old 78 Impala Wagon that was a Government car had A/C. & a 3rd seat, & AM 2 speaker Radio as the only options.
