Except for the Veraneo and Holden with '71 Impala front end, the rest are Opels. I wouldn't mind having a Veraneo, if it had safety glass and the rest of the safety features North American cars get. It would make a cool panel truck, when lowered a couple inches
I had one of those Pontiac LeMons, I mean, LeMans, back in the day...it was so very underwhelming. It also had a few design deficiencies that would've made them not very good cars in a country where most roads are unpaved.
I think they missed a big opportunity when they didn't bring in the Chevette wagon. They would have had a 3 door, 5 door and a wagon. Gas and diesel engines. Manual and automatic. "A car for every purpose and purse" I believe the qoute goes.... .
