    A lot of our classics from the 50s and 60s have ended up in Europe. The internet has really closed the gap and anyone with deep pockets can get one shipped home.

    Sweden has more classic American cars than most.
    I believe that at some stage during the Cold War, many US servicepeople were stationed there, bringing their cars with them and leaving them behind afterwards.
    There are also more than you might imagine here in the UK, given our narrow roads and ridiculous fuel prices. Many have recently been imported by enthusiasts, but there were a number of prominent dealers (Lendrum and Hartman, for example) who imported them as new cars in the sixties.

    I think it's the best place for them,saved from all them good ole demo derby boys and the Hot Rod need a hemi for a project boys.More finned wagons in their sanctuary...
