    Depends on your point of view. Has air-conditioning. Has cruise control. Has AM-FM radio. Has fancy wheelcovers. A nice, low-cost luxury car. What more do you need? :)

    I can live without power windows and seats, it looks to just have the standard Bumper filler & headliner issues of the era.

    If I am reading the VIN correctly it is powered by the rarely seen 2bbl 265 Pontiac V8

    Let's break down that VIN.

    2 = Canadian built
    G = General Motors
    2 = Pontiac division
    A = non-passive/manual belt restraint system
    N = Bonneville
    69 = Sedan 4-door notchback
    S = 4.3 liter 2-bbl
    6 = check digit
    B = 1981 model year
    1 = Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant
    781969 = production sequence number

    4.3 liters is 262 cubic inches, so, yes, the small V-8. Like I said, low-cost luxury. This is not a performance vehicle, and it wasn't intended to be.
