$13.5k bid and reserve still not met? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Chevr...ON-/332659128699?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
Yes, $13,000+ seems high. I notice the high bidder has zero feedback. A shill bidder? I know I talked about in another thread how ebay claims that shill bidding is not as common as people think, but you have to wonder in a case like this. The previous high bidder looks like a real person with over 200 feedbacks, so apparently there are people who think this wagon is worth that much. There is no question the car is stunning, but that price is still over the top.
I agree but not by much. Id say it’s a $10,000 car all day. I’ve noticed that the 80’s wagons have slightly increased in asking prices lately.
it think it worth every penny, would I pay the 1985 sticker price for a perfect Colony Park - absolutely in a New York minute.
That one looks like the one I wanted to buy here in Ct, I think that one went for $9000. I think I could flip mine for a nice profit but no way Jose, im keeping it. Thats alot of money, not sure how much more he can get out of it. Im glad there are still nice wagons out there though, I just wish I had more garage bays. Hmmm I think a lift needs to be in my future, lmao.
SOLD for $15, 599? That has to be a record for a GM box wagon. That is mint clamshell territory. We'll see if it holds. Here's an almost identical CE that is much more affordable. https://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/cto/d/1988-chevrolet-caprice/6571356998.html
WOW winning bidder came in at last moment and placed only 1 bid, glad to see it hit the number! hope for all of us that have sim to cars
